What is Kahana’s repair policy?

We are deeply committed to creating excellent, durable, and quality pieces of jewelry at Kahana, which celebrate India’s influence on the craft. Our product team conducts through inspections on all outgoing pieces to ensure that they can be enjoyed and loved for years to come.

Please review the warranty guidelines for our pieces below:

All our pieces are eligible for a three-year warranty. Please note that this warranty is not equivalent to an insurance policy.

The three-year warranty covers the following manufacturing defects:

  • Replacement of accent stones and stones under 5mm
  • Broken prongs, broken bands, and misshapen pieces
  • One time resize

The three-year warranty doesn't cover:

  • Loss of a piece
  • Stone replacement over 5mm, unless the loss of the stone is determined by us to be due to a manufacturing defect. That said, side stones under 5mm will be replaced free of charge within 3 years of purchase.
  • Pieces that have been repaired by a 3rd party

How do I submit a repair request?

If your piece needs to be repaired, we're here to assist! Please submit a repair request by emailing info@kahanajewels.com and mentioning your order number, and the item to be repaired along with pictures of the item.

How does Kahana handle repair shipping?

Shipping is the responsibility of the customer in both directions. However, Kahana will generate the shipping label and invoice to ensure smooth passage at customs. Please note that each return label costs $50 each way.

What happens after the repair warranty period?

After three years, your warranty runs out. However, we will still service you with any repair you need at a below-market-value priced fee.

Please submit a repair request by emailing info@kahanajewels.com and mentioning your order number (if you still have it), and the item to be repaired along with pictures of the item.

Returns and Exchanges

What is Kahana’s return policy?

Return and exchange requests need to be raised within 5 days of receiving an item, and the item must be picked up for return shipping within 10 days of receiving it. You can raise a request by emailing info@kahanajewels.com and mentioning your order number, and the item to be returned / exchanged. If it meets the criteria above, we will send you a Return Slip on email.

The item must be in its original, brand-new condition, showing no signs of having been worn or used. The item should be packaged securely (ideally in its original packaging) and include the Return Slip that Kahana would have provided in your Return Confirmation email.

If an item is by chance received damaged, please email info@kahanajewels.com immediately with a clear description of the item and include a photograph.

Do note that Kahana does not refund items that are lost or damaged in transit back to our studio. Hence, please use extra padding and include secure tracking information and insurance for your own protection.

Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit.

How can I modify or delete my order?

You can modify or delete your order within 24 hours of placing it. Our customer service team will be delighted to assist - please email them on info@kahanajewels.com

How do I submit a return request?

Please submit a return or exchange request by emailing info@kahanajewels.com and mentioning your order number, and the item to be returned / exchanged.

Please note you must wait for Kahana to email you back with a Return Slip (hence accepting the return) before you send the product back to us.
