Though polished diamonds come in many shapes and sizes, polki (uncut, unpolished diamonds) are either round or oval to keep them as close to their original shape as possible. We wanted to reimagine polki in a modern context by working with artisans in Surat to craft natural polki into the shape of a heart.
Crafted in 18 carat gold, the earrings feature 1.08 carats of natural polki and are adorned with a surprise meenakari (enamel) design on the back.
